banana Pudding Recipe (Southern and Homemade)
The best southern style homemade banana pudding. Make your friends envious… Put their Jello Vanilla pudding with slices of bananas to shame.

Bananas Foster
Ingredients:
1 c. brown sugar (light or dark)
1/4 # butter
2 bananas
2 oz. banana liquor
1 oz. rum
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
1 oz. Rum (if it is to be flambéed)
Vanilla ice cream
Method:
Cook the sugar and butter for about 5 minutes.
Add bananas, simmer anoth
If flambéing, pull the sauté pan back and super heat the front edge of the pan, add another 1 oz rum with a jigger,(do not pour out of the bottle!!) and light with a long match, or roll the flame over the edge of the pan if using gas, jiggling the sauté pan will increase the flame.
Serve over vanilla ice cream. nfd♥
Bananas Foster
INGREDIENTS:
4 firm ripe bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 tablespoons lemon juice, about
1 lemon
1/2 cup banana liqueur
1/2 cup dark rum or good quality brandy
PREPARATION:
Melt butter in a heavy skillet; add the brown sugar and spices, stirring until the sugar is completely melted.
Add the ripe bananas and cook until they are hot and well coated with syrup, but not mushy.

I go for maria-brazil. But–if you want something a bit simpler. Get a box of dry tempura batter and prepare according to package Slice bananas. Fry. Drizzle with honey and serve. This tastes exactly like at a vietnamese restaurant. Also, it’s wicked good with pineapple rings. (fresh is best, but canned works too)
BANANAS FOSTER (for two)- In a frying pan, 1 tbsp Butter, 3 tbsp Brown sugar and one banana sliced length wise and halved.
Cook on moderate heat adding rum and a pinch of cinnamon until bananas soften and the sauce begins to thicken (Caramelize).
Remove from heat and serve over Vanilla ice cream (in large red wine glasses is nice) and serve immediately.
Any dessert that you’ve made with bananas that tastes great : )

Chocolate Banana Smoothie
1 banana cut into chunks
1 cup ice cubes
1 cup chocolate milk
1 cup vanilla yogurt
Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree.
Pour into 4 chilled glasses and severe at once……
Chocolate-Covered Bananas
5 bananas
8 popsicle sticks
3 cups good quality chocolate bar
3 tablespoons butter, cut up
Toppings: Chopped nuts Toasted coconut Cookie crumbles Colored sprinkles or chocolate jimmies Mini chocolate candies or mini semi sweet chips, for chocoholics
Granola Peel and cut the bananas in half crosswise, so that you have 8 pieces.
Place peeled bananas on sticks.
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Place bananas on the cookie sheet in the freezer, keep them in there as long as possible, at least 10 minutes.
Heat chocolate bits with butter in a double boiler over low heat until the chocolate melts and butter is incorporated.
Dip the chilled bananas in chocolate and roll with your favorite topping.
Chill or freeze until ready to serve.
These are so incredible, you won’t need ice cream this summer!
There’s also a recipe I love that is truly southern.
Here it is:
2 slices white bread Peanut butter (however much you prefer)
1 banana, sliced
Butter Spread the peanut butter on the inside of the bread.
Layer the bananas on top of the peanut butter on one slice of bread then top with the other. Butter the outside of your bread and grill this sandwich like you would a grilled cheese.
The peanut butter melts and it’s just wonderful!
If you want, you can substitute Nutella (a chocolate hazelnut spread found in the peanut butter aisle) instead of peanut butter for an even more decandent treat!

I would like to know a recipe for a banana cake but I dont wanna use the oven; wanna know is there any recipe similar to panacotta {setting it in the fridge; something of those type}
No Bake Banana Pudding Cheesecake
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
2 cups cold milk
1 small box instant banana pudding mix
1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
Using a blender or mixer – Stir cream cheese until very soft, gradually blending in 1/2 cup of milk until smooth and creamy.
Add remaining milk and the pudding mix.
Beat slowly on low for one minute (DO NOT OVER BEAT).
Pour into cool graham cracker crust. Sprinkle extra graham cracker crust crumbs on top (if you have some).
This makes it extra crunchy and looks nice. Chill.
BANANA CHEESECAKE
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. tub Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. banana flavoring 1 (9″) graham cracker crust
2 bananas, sliced
Slice 1 banana and arrange in bottom of graham cracker crust.
Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth consistency.
Add Cool Whip and banana flavoring.
Mix until smooth.
Spread in crust.
Slice remaining banana and arrange on top of cheesecake.
Refrigerate.
Ready to eat in 10 minutes.
