What are some good banana smoothie recipes including one for a choc banana smoothie?
My son loves this:
You will need:
about 8 strawberries, washed and stalks removed
2 ripe bananas, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 tbsp runny honey
00ml cold milk P
Put the fruit, honey and about half the milk into an electric blender and blend until smooth.
Add the rest of the milk and blend thoroughly again.
Do not over-blend or the mixture will become too frothy.

For chocolate banana smoothie, blend 1/2 ripe banana with 250ml of your favorite chocolate milk. Do not use powdered chocolate as this would make the smoothie powdery.

Anyone have any good banana dessert recipes?

BANANAS FOSTER (for two)- In a frying pan, 1 tbsp Butter, 3 tbsp Brown sugar and one banana sliced length wise and halved.
Cook on moderate heat adding rum and a pinch of cinnamon until bananas soften and the sauce begins to thicken (Caramelize).
Remove from heat and serve over Vanilla ice cream (in large red wine glasses is nice) and serve immediately.

What are some good recipes for Banana Chutney?
I have tons of bananas, some coconut, and varieties of spices. I know how to make chutney, but I wonder how you’d do it
Bananas, ginger LOADS clove powder cumin cinnamon bay leaf shredded coconut (some ripe soft jack fruit Optional) raw sugar a good amount……..(you can use alot but you don’t need to because the bananas are sweet too) black pepper ghee butter coconut cream salt make a chanc of the spices in the ghee fry the bananas (and optional jackfruit) a little (so they are JUST translucent) (optional raisins can be added) add sugar, butter and coconut cream cook down a little more add some more ginger (blended) and some raw blended tumeric

The same banana plant from 2007, that I carried into the house to stay alive during the winter. This year, as you can see, the plant was too big to keep in a pot. Actually it probably was too big to bring indoors last year!
